State Fair of Louisiana Signs Talley Amusements to be Next Midway provider

The State Fair of Louisiana announced a new partnership with Talley Amusements to provide the carnival midway at the fair beginning in 2024. In January, the fair requested proposals from interested carnival companies. The fair was previously played by Crabtree Amusements and later Amusement Midway Providers (AMP).
“We're honored to be selected as the next carnival provider for the State Fair of Louisiana. Our team is committed to delivering the cleanest, safest carnival midway experience, ensuring that our guests and their families can enjoy themselves while creating cherished memories that last a lifetime,” said Mary Talley, Vice President of Talley Amusements, Inc.
Proposals were due on February 29 and the fair made its final selection on April 1.
“We are very proud to partner with Talley Amusements as our carnival provider. Their attention to detail, extensive selection of rides, and “wow” factor will be a must-experience for fairgoers," said Robb Brazzel, President & General Manager.
“We are excited to work closely with Rob Brazzel and his wonderful team at the State Fair of Louisiana,” said Mary Talley. “Being awarded these wonderful state fair contracts is mostly due to the unwavering commitment that my partner, Tom Talley has for being a trendsetter in this industry. ”
The State Fair of Louisiana is the second State Fair contract that Talley has signed in recent years. In late 2023, the show also signed a new contract with the Ohio State Fair. Additionally, the show books several rides and attractions on the independent midway of the San Diego County Fair, Minnesota State Fair, and State Fair of Texas. In Dallas, the show owns the Texas Star, a permanent SDC Giant Wheel that has been at the fair since 1985.
The 2024 State Fair of Louisiana is scheduled to run from October 30th to November 17th (Closed on Mondays & Tuesdays).
Operating hours will be from 11am to 10pm on weekdays and from 10am to 10pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
