Rides 4U - New & Used Rides
LED Monitor Sales
Kevin Exum's Rides USA was busy visiting with new and familiar customers on opening day of the 2026 IISF Gibtown Trade Show. Rides USA showcased its first one-trailer, two-story Mirror Maze at the show, and it generated significant interest. The Mirror Maze is manufactured by Ride Equipment International in Asia and is exclusively represented by Rides USA.

On display at the show was the second Mirror Maze produced by the company, which is being delivered to Andrew Evans of Evans Midland Empire Shows. A third Mirror Maze will soon be delivered to Heart of America Shows.

The Mirror Maze features a full LED light show and a vibrant, hand-painted front that can be customized in any theme. A camera security system monitors riders throughout the attraction at all times and helps reduce the number of operators required. The ride includes stainless steel handrails on the lower level, and the steel tubing frame has been powder coated for durability.

To simplify leveling, the trailer is equipped with hydraulic leveling jacks to speed up the setup process.

Additional highlights include aluminum corner caps on the second story, where other similar funhouses typically use canvas between the sidewalls and the slanted roof.

At the show, Exum also announced that a new funhouse themed New York, New York will soon be available. Robert Briggs' Modern Midways committed to the first version of the ride, with other parties also expressing interest. The funhouse will be available in two models: one fully equipped with all features, and another with a reduced number of tricks and without the spiral slide so it can be operated by a single operator. Both models will use the same size trailer and frontage space.

Another popular attraction offered by Rides USA is a remake of the popular Kamikaze, built by Guven Rides of Turkey. The first Kamikaze was delivered last week to Wade Shows and is currently operating at the Florida State Fair. Additional models are on order for Primetime Carnival, Smokey's Greater Shows, and Cole Rides.

Also built by Guven Rides, the company's kiddie roller coaster, Runaway Train, has been a strong seller. Last year, Kissel Amusement in Ohio took delivery of a new Runaway Train with a custom Polar Express theme, which was fitting for some of the carnival's winter events. The ride is fully trailer-mounted, eliminating the need to handle track during assembly. “With labor being a huge issue in the industry, the design of this coaster makes setup and teardown much easier,” said Exum.

Rides USA has experienced considerable success selling its lineup of gondola wheels over the past couple of years. The company will deliver a 26-meter wheel to an amusement park in Pennsylvania this April and delivered a new 36-meter giant wheel to Primetime Carnival last fall.

Kevin Exum has a lifetime of experience in the carnival industry. He began his career on the road as a unit manager for Murphy Brothers Exposition before going on to own his own carnival in Texas. He has also successfully operated large-scale carnivals in Asia, including the company's latest venture, ATT's Great American Carnival in Taiwan. “Operating in Taiwan is a challenge,” said Exum, noting that labor remains the top concern.

Rides USA is currently taking orders for new funhouses with possible 2026 delivery dates. The company is also open to accepting trades of quality used equipment.
