Rides 4-U Brings the Rides to IAAPA
Company prepares its biggest-ever display for the 2025 IAAPA Expo, with new attractions, portable models, and bold plans.
Rides 4-U is gearing up to make a major impression at the 2025 IAAPA Expo, bringing one of the largest and most dynamic exhibits in the company's history. With both indoor and outdoor displays, the New Jersey–based ride distributor plans to showcase the very best of its lineup, from compact coasters to high-capacity thrill rides.
“We're being showmen and going all out with a huge display,” said Len Soled, president of Rides 4-U, which represents SBF/Visa and KMG. “It's a roll of the dice and a big expense, but it's worth it to show our customers the equipment in person.”
A Changing Market
Like most manufacturers, Rides 4-U is working to shift customer expectations around ordering cycles. The company hopes to encourage operators to place orders earlier, well before the show floor closes, to lock in a timely delivery.
“The days of ordering at the show and taking delivery in the spring are behind us,” Soled explained. Demand for new rides and attractions has grown substantially, not only in the United States, but in Europe and the Middle east as well, pushing factories production schedules.
The good news? Some delivery windows remain open. “SBF/Visa has a large production facility and can deliver certain rides in time for the heart of the 2026 season,” said Soled. “But the longer you wait, the further back you are in line.”

“Our drop towers have a lot of action, which is the key to their success,” noted Soled. Another advantage is the company's U.S.-based inventory of spare parts, stocked at its New Jersey headquarters for quick fulfillment.
Also returning to IAAPA is Rides 4-U's exciting Zero Gravity ride, a modern evolution of the classic Rotor attraction. Since debuting, the piece has become a hit with both amusement parks and Family Entertainment Centers (FECs).
“One of our customers was so impressed that he bought five, one for each of his FEC locations,” said Soled. “We're also in talks about developing a portable version.” The Zero Gravity's compact footprint and eye-catching design have made it one of the company's fastest-rising stars.

“I think people are getting tired of those Dragon coasters—it's time to up the ante with an updated model,” Soled said. The spinning coaster will be showcased racked on its trailer, giving operators a first-hand look at its portability.
Also outside, visitors will find a new portable version of SBF/Visa's Pirate Ship, owned by Stewart Amusements. Seating between 30 and 40 adults per cycle, the ride features a simple drive system and can be assembled or disassembled in just three hours.

“We've seen big demand for pirate ship rides,” Soled added. “These high-capacity pieces are dependable, look great, and appeal to both committees and the public.” Rides 4-U also offers a park model for permanent installations.
“We look forward to seeing all of our customers at the show,” said Soled. “It's the best opportunity of the year to connect, experience the rides in person, and plan for the future.”

Spotlight on Signature Attractions
Inside the convention center, Rides 4-U will feature its ever-popular Compact Spinning Coaster, recently sold to an amusement park in upstate New York. Also on display will be a mini drop tower, a proven favorite among North American buyers.
“Our drop towers have a lot of action, which is the key to their success,” noted Soled. Another advantage is the company's U.S.-based inventory of spare parts, stocked at its New Jersey headquarters for quick fulfillment.

Outdoors: Big Rides and Big Impact
The outdoor exhibit will feature another Compact Spinning Coaster, this one a portable model owned by TK Amusements. The updated version includes improvements to its racking system for faster, easier setup.“I think people are getting tired of those Dragon coasters—it's time to up the ante with an updated model,” Soled said.
