Michael Inman, Former Manager of Amusements of America Passes
Michael Glenn Inman was born May 20th,1955 in Waycross, GA, at Ware County Hospital. He was the son of Edmund Charles Inman and Helen Henderson Inman. He was a graduate of Central Highschool in Macon, GA. He went on to further his education and graduated from Georgia College in Milledgeville, GA.
His father was the longtime manager of the Georgia State Fair in Macon and after working several and various jobs after college, he decided to get into the fair industry. He started working for Amusements of America, the carnival ride provider for the fair in 1980. He worked various jobs for the company starting in the food concession trailers then moving up into the transportation department. He eventually became the General Manager of the International Unit of Amusements of America, a title he held until his retirement in 2020. As General Manager he oversaw the day- to- day operations of the company and played a monumental role in the company's overseas carnival operations. Michael went overseas several times to Puerto Rico and also to the Dominican Republic and Lima, Peru. Michael played a big role for several years in the company's endeavors to Ottawa, Canada.
Upon his retirement he returned home to care for his mother Helen and spend time with family. He is predeceased by his father Edmund Charles Inman, and brothers Edmund Charles Inman Jr., and Christopher Joseph Inman. He is survived by his mother Helen Henderson Inman, his nephew Gregory Inman (wife Jessica), niece Kacie Mangler (husband Todd), and great nieces Jordan, Lillian, and Lainey Inman and Marissa, Gianna and Charlotte Mangler.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 6th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at:

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 7th at 2:00 pm at Zenith Baptist Church
