Jeremy Pomfret of Rhode Island Novelty Passes
POMFRET, JEREMY L., 50, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the loving husband of Kerry (Perschau) Pomfret for 12 years.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was a son of Elizabeth A. (Coen) Pomfret and the late Robert F. Pomfret.
The epitome of a people person, Jeremy worked in sales for Rhode Island Novelty for 21 years. He always provided superior service along with creating and maintaining long term relationships with his customers.
In his spare time Jeremy had many hobbies and interests. He was an avid outdoorsman, particularly enjoying time at the beach and boating. He loved his relaxing days down at Johnson’s Pond and going on vacations with his family. Growing up in the era of the “Big Bad Bruins”, Jeremy was a long time fan of the Boston Bruins and ardent supporter of the “black and gold”. He will be fondly remembered for his contagious sense of humor and willingness to always have a good time.
Besides his beloved wife Kerry, Jeremy leaves behind the light of his life, his five year old son, Jackson L. Pomfret, whom he cherished and adored. They were best buddies always playing and laughing together. Brother of Matthew Pomfret, Beth Ann Platt (Michael), Brian Pomfret (Cheryl), Peter Pomfret (Melissa), John Pomfret (Joey), and the late Robert Pomfret. Son-in-law to Gary L. Perschau, and the late Janet Perschau; brother-in-law to Kim Perschau. Uncle to many nieces and nephews, and friend to many.
