Frank Zaitshik Remembers Jo Clever, the Glue That Made Wade Shows Stick

Jo Clever died peacefully at 4:36 AM on Thursday December 8,2022.
Jo lived a long life with a huge Wade Shows extended family.
Words can't express the impact she had on all of us that were fortunate enough to work with her and call her our friend. Ours was a relationship that wasn't either business or personal, it was both. There were no lines where one started or the other ended.

Some of My Best Memories of Jo:
She helped me write my first proposal.
She made me aware of serious financial flaws in Wade Shows' accounting.
It sometimes would be easier to rob Fort Knox than get a draw from her.
We all knew how to straighten money the “Jo Clever way.”
Jo didn't drink often, but during the anuall MAFE convention you could bet that her and the “Old Heifers Club” would rediscover why they didn't drink Long Island Ice Teas all year round.
She complained that she didn't have enough working space in our general office, so we built her a office just for her. After the first week she was pouting that no one came by to check or visit her in the new office. We fixed that.
We were going to play Olympia Stadium, which was in a rough area. I told her not to worry, the parking lot was fenced in. When we got there, the fence had been stolen. The look on her face.
The happiness I felt when my youngest daughter called her Grandma Jo.
We all loved and respected Jo Clever and, yes, we knew she felt the same about us.
