Green Cove Springs, FL - Last week, the Clay County Agricultural Fair Board announced a 10-year contract extension with Deggeller Attractions. The new contract extends through the 2030 fair. Deggeller Attractions has a long standing relationship with the fair, providing the fairs midway for the past 34 years and has been the only carnival provider of the fair.
“We are ecstatic to continue our longstanding relationship with Deggeller Attractions. For the past 34 years, Deggeller Attractions has provided Clay County an exceptionally entertaining, clean and safe family experience. Beyond just a business relationship, we truly regard the Deggeller's and their team as part of the Clay County Fair family. Deggeller Attractions ongoing commitment to quality, safety and innovation, added to the close relationship with our fair's management team, makes for a great partnership and I am excited to welcome them back in 2021.” said Tasha Hyder, Clay County Fair Manager.
The fair, which traditionally takes place in early April, was cancelled for 2020 due to coronavirus concerns. Instead of a total cancellation, the fair decided to make to hold a virtual fair through the fairs Facebook page that included a virtual talent show featuring homemade videos from entertainers that were scheduled for the 2020 fair. Food vendors also submitted videos of fair foods and some even offered educational "how to" videos for making fair treats from home.
The 2021 fair is scheduled for April 1-10.
