This was my first visit to the midway of Carnival Tyme Amusements. They were set up in Greencastle, Indiana at the Putnam County Fair. It was a short visit as I was en route to a commitment.

The majors included: Kamikaze, Eli Wheel, Tilt-A-Whirl, Gravitron, Spider and a suspended twirling ride something along the lines of the old Heart Flip Ride.

According to a previous post by SkyWheeler, on his visit to Carnival Tyme, they also have the following majors: Star-Trooper, Round Up, Sizzler, Casino, Loop-O-Plane.

I agree with Chris Hurley's impressions that the rides do need some work. The Kamikaze which has been refurbished, was the nicest piece on the midway and would fit in well on any midway. So if that is the standard by which they plan to redo their other rides, then in time, this will be a very attractive mid-sized Show.

Even now, if you were to catch them at a spot with their full compliment of rides, they would be a desirable Show. I always like watching a Show develop over the years, and I'm pretty sure this is a Show that has the potential to grow into a good one.

Keep your eyes on this Show!

I've never been "with it", just been an interested observer of carnivals for more than 50 years.

I personally don't know. I had literally no time to stop and talk to anyone, it was one quick walk-thru and thats it.

I would like to know more about this Show if anyone has any information on them.

The only pieces that belonged to CTA in Greencastle was the MGR, Dragon Wagon Ferris Wheel Kamikaze Kid Power And that suspended twirling ride known as a Frolic. The rest of that rides are operated by Mike Nieghbors, M&J Amusrements. We just had signs and benches everywhere because we were trying to snake the spot.
