Looking for someone who has the service manual for the portable Chance Inverter. I received an incomplete one through the collector community recently, and would like some help with completing it. I'm missing the entirety of Section 4E, as well as pages B-9 and F-16. Looking for photocopies or PDF scans so that you do not have to part with your original manual in any way! I'm also missing the vendor literature, but I can find that literature on my own if I'm given information on what components are in the vendor literature, and model numbers.

I have several Chance manuals scanned into PDF. Yo-Yo, Turbo, Skydiver/Astro Wheel, Rok-N-Rol, and Slingshot (portable). I can trade one of these in exchange for the pages I need for the Inverter. Reply or message me if you can help.

I'm also looking for various Chance manuals to add to my collection. Alpine Bobs, Casino/Trabant, Century Wheel, Chaos, Flying Bobs, Freestyle, Giant Wheel, Music Fest, Pixie Plaza, Radar/Raven, Sea Dragon, Skywheel, Thunderbolt, Toboggan, Twister, Wipeout, Zipper, Zumur. Looking for all versions of these manuals as they pertain to portable rides. Not looking for the old RideManuals website junk or the field inspection guides and bulletins, if I want those I can access them online. I'm looking for the actual service manuals. Reply or message me if you can help. Again, I'm looking for photocopies or PDF scans, I don't want anyone parting with their original manuals!

Thanks!

I think if you buy a new manual you get a free Inverter with it.

Haha. With how much of a nightmare that ride was to keep running you really should get a free Inverter with the purchase of a manual. Easy conversion at ARM. All seriousness though, I’m looking to complete the manual I have for historical preservation, and I enjoy the light reading when I’m bored in the bunkhouse. I normally work with a Wisdom Tornado, and I like to learn about rides more sophisticated than what I work with and have worked with in the past. I turned to the forums and fanpages and groups because frankly, Chance doesn’t want to help. I contacted them about it and told them what I was missing, and they basically ignored me and only wanted to sell me the full manual for their marked up price, when I need maybe 1/4 of it (just a guess considering I’m missing the electrical section of the parts catalog, and the electrical for the Wipeout manual I have is 100 pages alone).

You might try Eric Bates. Since he was retrofitting them into Full Tilts he probably has the manuals from the old ride.
