With major flooding in Calgary, Alberta the Stampede grounds are getting hit hard, and with the Stampede a little over a week a way, could it be in limbo?

There is NO WAY Calgary will NOT host the Stampede this year. It may be wet, it may be dirty, but it WILL go on. I have been there when it rained really hard, and tornado warnings, flood warnings thunder storms, ect, and never closed early, and never opened late. Way too much at stake for the city not to have it. If you have ever been there, you know that this isn't just the average fair. The entire community starts wearing cowboy hats about a week before, and the city transforms into an international celebration. People from all over the world go to the Stampede, because of it's history. I hope it all goes as planned, and the city has a chance to heal from the horrible floods before it starts.
