Does anyone know who built the wheel thats in the Disneys California Adventureland? Ive asked in another forum (micechat.com) but i thought id ask here too.

Its a copy of the famous Coney Island Wonder Wheel
it would be interesting to know if disney has been sued over it

Design patents expire after 14 years I believe.

Intamin built the ferris wheel at DCA.

Intamin and Waagner Biro are both right. Like a lot of sky tower rides that Intamin sold over the years, they were the broker while Waagner Biro actually built the ride. The Intamin multi-wheels like the Marriott parks had were also, in actuality, Waagner Biros.
