The www.newsobserver.com  has a daily update on the trial of Meg Phipps. Interesting stuff, seems like a lot of people dragged into the mud that probably don't deserve such treatment.
it is ugly - a regular soap opera like a TV movie of the week. tons of fingerpointing amongst the NC govt. officials.
this occuring during the fair isn't a good thing for anyone involved either.

I don't think the general public cares too much about who plays and who pays,but unfortunatly the people in the business are the ones who are affected by all this.
