Arctic Express? Thought they got that one from Mid America. I could be wrong though.

yes, that's right.
Farrow had the Alpine Bobs.
Mid America had the Thunder Bolt and forgot that Blomsness All Star had a Thunder Bolt too...

So you guys are mixing this some. Here is the history.

-Farrow bought an Alpine Bobs new around 1996. It currently is moving on the NAME International Unit.

-NAME-Mid America currently still has the Thunder Bolt that came from Pugh.

-NAME Astro unit is currently moving an Arctic Express that was a Thunder Bolt. I think they got it from a show in the south or Texas around 2016 and rethemed it.

-Blomsness All Star had a Thunder Bolt new from Chance in the early 90s. Jeff traded it to Wisdom in 2001 when he bought the Matterhorn/Himalaya (1 trailer). It was the coolest Thunder Bolt I've seen. Awesome artwork. I still have many pics of it. It later went to J&J Amusements and I think they are still moving it.

Does anyone know how many Chance Music Fest's are still out there, with the top?

Always liked those multi colored metal flake tubs.

Those old Music Fest rides are my favorite version of the Chance Matterhorn style rides. I really liked the psychedelic ones with all the different colors. And yeah, those metal flake tubs were cool also. I think there might only be a few with the tops left.

Johnny's United Shows used to bring one in years ago here and it was a sharp ride.

The only thing I didn't like was the pre-strip, boy down to nothing just about.

We had a Music Fest on Childress, but the theme was kinda mixed up, had music notes on top panels, but a winter scene elsewhere with white tubs and blue/white top. I always wished we had made it the original look but never did.

Thanks for the info on All Stars Thunderbolt. Ride has been rethemed. If I remember right, it had a red, white & blue color scheme originally. Good to see it’s still out there.
