I wanted to ask and see if someone can explain to me the difference between a side winder and a roll-o-plane ride. I got that a Loop-o-plane has the two different arms that rotate around and the cars can be loaded simultaneously. Thanks.

Sidewinder was an updated model of the Roll O Plane, of course the tubs were a different shape, but I think all the motions were the same including the boom flipping horizontal as well.

All the Sidewinders I have seen have had the green colors and green lights, but I figure some are different. Also, the Sidewinder was trailer mounted and on a 28'

Maybe some on here that moved one can tell us more.

Most of the Sidwewinders I've seen, at least 3 or 4 were blue. Only saw 1 green one.

In the 1990's Johnston Amusements had a red and white Sidewinder.

Seen only two in person, both were green, one was on Doc Harden's George Amusement Company back in the 80s, then one on small show around here, can't remember the name right now.
