Hey Guys
Over the last couple of weeks, I have been steadily working on the Faller Carousel kit (#140316) for my shows kiddie land or 2nd unit based on the Snyder's Amusements San Antonio carousel (2nd pic). This kit comes with 28 horses, 14 tigers , and 7 chariots and is meant to be a 3 abreast with 4 chariots. I have modified mine to be a 2 abreast menagerie Carousel without the chariots as I went with 12 horses on the inside row, and an alternating row of 6 Horses and 6 tigers. I used some extra florescent tubes from Rich's Shapeways site that I had forgotten about for the 12 tubes around the upper scenery, and 24 on the inside scenery panels. This piece is about 28' in diameter so it looks right at home against the Hampton's and other classic kiddies from Rich, and the smaller major rides from Don. I found some 5mm jewelry stars that I had bought years ago and forgotten about and used 12 gold and 24 purple ones on the scenery instead of the beads that it came with. I found a Carousel roof on Sven's Shapeways site that has the look of San Antonio and Chance canvas tops to finish the model. All that is left to do is work on adding some fencing.
Here is the roof that I used to finish the model.

Here's some pictures of the build process.
