Does anyone know whose carnival rides are seen in Old Crow Medicine Show's music video for their song Wagon Wheel? There's a Rock-O-Plane, Ferris Wheel and a few others. The vid seems to have been released around 2006. I'm told by the band's manager it was shot in Smyrna, Tenn., next to a carnival that was already happening, but they don't know the name. I wanted to give the show a mention

That's Snyder & Metts Amusements which was owned by Hill Snyder. Been closed for a few years now. Casey's Rides got the Hurricane, Musik Express, Sizzler and Gravitron. Kissel Entertainment has the Larson Fireball. Not sure where the Rock ended up or the Swinger. There was also a Tempest which last I heard was still in Snyder's barn just outside Nashville.

When it hit it's peak back in the mid 80's Hill had a really nice looking small show of about 20 rides or so. Played mostly KY/TN spots and occasionally ventured up into Southern Indiana.
