Hey, does anyone know what happened (where is it) to the last Holiday Bounce (that I know of). It was themed "Defender" I think the last time it was out on Conklin down at the SC State Fair.

Is it sitting in a field somewhere rotting away?

Scrapped from what I understand.

The Holiday Bounce was quite a showpiece. I remember way back when it played the Michigan State Fair, it was, definitely earning its keep. It wasn't a ride; it was a production. I always liked the tub & turntable artwork. It even used recorded announcements for loading and unloading which I thought was a nice touch. I'm surprised it wound up in the boneyard.
Doing nothing is tiresome because you can't stop to rest.

Different ride. The one in your photo belonged to Arnold Amusements for a few years then was sold to Jon Jinright. Last theme was a Volcano/tropical theme.

Well, maybe Wisdom or somebody will build a new one.

No reason it couldn't be done, could have all the safety updates it needs, maybe with better racking design could lower the load count.

Seems like it always made money.

I am sure if you have the money, you could find someone to make you anything.

It is what you learn, after you know it all, that counts.

Bump to review previous discussions.
I've never been "with it", just been an interested observer of carnivals for more than 50 years.
