It makes me wonder where the responsibility of alot carnival related incidents lie? I mean you better watch your backside out there if you decide to take a job as an electrician or maint. on a show!! when you have those duties, and the manager or show owner say to you after you tell him/her about an obvious concern you have ,to disregard your common sense/trainng, and continue doing it the way they see fit; and something fails, now what!... Or why should you have to explain your concerns at length to someone who pays you to take that responsibility! they should appreciate your commitment to doing things right! if they can't see keeping the general public safe as a good thing, maybe they can appreciate the insurance savings.
Rules are fine, As long as they apply to everyone the same
