Howdy All.
It's that time of year again where the D.O.T will be conducting stops all across the country. Everyone , and I do mean everyone who drives anything that pulls a trailer, drives a straight truck and of course a big truck will be subject to this inspection.
During this time of year the D.O.T will conduct a search to see if the driver is licensed to drive, log book search, personal and property search for any contraband and will do a level 1 to a level 3 inspection of the equipment.
This is not a surprise inspection, plenty of warning has been put out by the D.O.T to prepare the companies that have the equipment.
A record number of State, and county officials will conduct this inspection in every state, and county across the country.
Just remember to drive safe, have all of your ducks in a row, and be prepared. They will.
