I don't know about those (I'll check for you -- making a phone call shortly), but I do know where you might be able to come up with an almost complete set of the flourescent sweep lights for a Tip Top and a set of signs.

I don't know why it didn't occur to me earlier to ask on here. I could use the center from a tip top tub. The rest of the tub don't matter. Actually, the main thing I need is the wheel out of the center, but a whole center in better shape than mine would be great. I'll be going to Gibtown from near Columbus GA, then over to Orlando. So anywhere near that route would work fine to save shipping along the way. Thanks for any help anybody can give.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with the single tub, although I know where a complete Tip-Top is for sale (non-folding), including a set of tubs that has been stored inside a trailer.

In regards to my earlier post regarding the lights for a Tip Top, I do not have the 8 fixtures available. I do have 8 of the sweep light fixtures and a complete Tip Top sign. The signs need wiring done on them, but the flourescent sweep lights all worked 100% when we stored them. There might be a couple ballasts that need changed from sitting in storage, but the fixtures are clean -- none of them are mangled or mis-shaped. Contact me for a price if you're interested.

Oh well, thanks anyway. I had hoped you knew of someone who was scrapping one, since you knew about some lighting. Mine was pulled off the sweep with a hoist around the shaft and bent the wheel. Guess me and the torch will have some fun.

I'll keep my ears open -- I know where there are a couple Tip Tops, but they're still usable as complete rides so I don't think they're being parted out just yet. I'd pick one up and part it out but I don't have the finances together yet.

I have the lights from a rehab project I did where I accumulated an extra set and what not. On a sidenote, those fixtures are the same ones that are used on the Paratroopers as well (the flourescent ones). They can be used for other things too.

I also have a set of 12 of the Gravitron sweep light fixtures (the 60v mini-bulb versions), with almost all the wires and sockets available if anyone's interested in those. They need all new caps and probably about 1/4 of the sockets need to be replaced (I was rewiring them for a Gravitron when we decided not to use them).

I do have some other used equipment available but I haven't set down and made a list just yet, as I'm trying to get most of it together and list it on my website.

You missed the boat by 2 yrs. Nolans auction in 03 had all those parts, cheap. Art Gillette bought the lights and a rag bag park in Toledo, Ohio bought the tubs.

It seems like a lot of pictures I find of this ride are missing those lights & I figured they must be a pain to put on so many people have junked them. I am kind persistant about keeping the factoy lighting as close to original as possible & our Tip Top is missing those lights. I thought maybe the "Feather Lights" from a Round Up would work but they are too short.
