Walthers is offering an O gauge suspended roller coaster kit in their January ad, $229.98. #199-SC02, called the Scorpion.

Yeah I saw that in the walthers flyer. Unfortunatly its O gage and its amusement park style.

O gage.... What were they thinking????

Just saw the add myself, very sharp looking. Needs a loading platform though. I agree, why "O" scale and not HO? Otherwise might be worth getting.

I think they came out w/their first one 9 months ago or so. www.coasterdynamix.com 

I also think on webshots there was a guy who built one to look like Cedar Point's "Raptor" I remember it being green/purple.

Dan's Crafts & Things, Empire Blvd. Rochester, NY has the O gauge coaster on display. It was not running the day i was there, however. The detail on it is impressive, bolts on the supports etc. very realistic looking.
