i was reading on www.wral.com  that theme park attendance was up 4% at the top 50 parks in north america. first jump since 2001. did this trend also apply to fairs and festival attendance. our fair was up some and seems as those who got the good weather had better attendance. was that normal or just some spots up.

Our fair (Wayne County) attendance was up. Michigan State Fair attendance was up as well.

my towns fair, Kingston Exhibition was up too.. also featured WFS midway back first time in 2 years and a massive crowd for the final day (Demo Derby) also good weather helped, only rained 1 day this year rather then 2 or 3 days in previous years.
