OK, so I'm pulling a Hampton down I-30, in a truck that when I have it to the boards just might do 65mph downhill, when a little red Ford Ranger passes me, honking and pointing over to the right. Now keep in mind this is only the 2nd time I've ever pulled anything--I'd never even pulled a trailer before last weekend. So I pull over, as does the Hampton behind me and our ride home, thinking there's something wrong with one of the trailers. Found out the guy in the Ranger had done the same thing to the truck behind me. Nothing wrong with the equipment (that wasn't wrong with it when we left), and it cost us time we really couldn't afford.
Has this ever happened to you? WTF was this guy's problem?? [xx(]

lol me and my friend pulled up to a guy in a station wagon 1 time and told him his license plate was falling off, then he pulled over.........seemed funny at the time lol

If you want to see some people freak out, while driving down the road just take a camera and pull up alongside someone and take a picture-smile and drive on. Most people will totally freak cause no one is sure why in the world you took their picture. Harmless fun.

Getting people to pull over because they're leaking 'blinker fluid' is the best.

Stopping to check over a load would suck though, especially when in a hurry.

I have been in that situation many times before. However it only took once for me to learn not to pull over, just ignorant people having ignorant fun. That was until this year. I was headed north on I-65 towards Whiting Ind. when a guy pointed and was screaming pull over, im not sure what he said cuz i couldn't hear him all that well but i thought he called me an ignorant carnie. Well about 80 miles later when i got to the lot then and only then did i realize that one of my possum belly doors was haning down and had nearly ripped off with only one rivot holding it on. Man that was fun... BTW i have to try the camera thing, that sounds like alot of fun.

Last time I checked it wasn't illegal to take someone's picture while driving past them. Can't imagine that the dispatcher would do anything other than laugh at you if you called to complain about someone taking your picture. But who knows, maybe they would "Hurley" you off the interstate.
