Hi, Glad to finally be here... As usual, I have no idea what I am doing, but after a few feeble trys, I will get the hang of posting here. Thanks to John, I found this site. Just hope I can be of some help, to those already here. I am from the time, of the real sideshows. I just found the other day, the dimentions of the tent from our sideshow. The tent was 150' wide x 40' deep. My Dad was one that took notes on things such as that, and also kept things like old western union telegrams. Every day I find more stuff, that has so much sentimental value. How I wish, the big show was still on the road. I was extreamly lucky, to have my Mother for as long as I did, and be able to pass on the stories of thier lives, while growing up in the business. The chapter outlines, for my first book, are being posted at Sideshow Central. These are the rough cut, but very close to the storyline. When I finally quit, it will be a few years down the road, three books. Hope to check back here often....
