The Kings County Fair (California) is coming up in two weeks. B and B Amusements has played this fair for many years. I noticed today on wwww.kingsfair.com  that a carnival called "Desert Star Amusements" will be playing that spot this year. has anyone ever heard of this carnival? Is it worth a 90 mile drive to see it? do they do wristbands? B and B has lost lots of spots recently. Last year they lost the Tulare County Fair to Helm and Sons.

I think this may be the reincarnation of B&B? anyone know? Wasn't this discussed before? Desert Star is not in Matt's show database.

According to www.sanbenitocountyfair....docs/minutes-jan2004.doc  , Desert Star Attractions was formerly B & B Amusements, and the name was changed "due to some legal problems".

Desert Star Attractions is the new name for Buddy Mertens former B & B Amusements. I spoke with Buddy briefly today at the San Diego Co. Fair in Del Mar. Very nice guy!
