new dates and new carnival for the fair in mount airy nc this year.
the surry co agri fair in mt airy nc will be held august 5 thru the august 14
amusements of america will provide the carnival midway
dominic vivona jr, of aoa and fair board member and carnival lasion billy noah reached a deal this week.
aoa will bring in a unit of about 25 to 30 rides ,games ,food shows and attractions. for the ten day run.
aoa played the fair back in the 1970's and are looking forward to returning to mt airy this year.
the dates of the fair has always been in sept but the move to an earlier date in august will hopefully be
a bigger and better fair,the fair has been growing over the past several years and the fair board are looking forward to working
with amusments of america .new promotions, premier acts are planned this year.

this will be the 75th year of the surry co agi. fair in mount airy, the fair board is planning a big event this year.
along with new dates and a new carnival ,,they have booked the erik d motorcycle thrill show, aiwf pro wrestling, working on bringing in
lama rama shows ,chainsaw carvers, racing pigs and ducks,, clowns and circus acts antique displays, old cars show live music and several other
promotions are being worked on such as carload nite, school nite ,senior days. 75 cents day, m,illitary days. ladies nite and more
they are hoping for the best and biggest fair ever to celebrate the 75th year, the far is operated by the american leigon and vfw.
and all monies raised goes to the upkeep of veterans memorial park and to support the american leigon and vfw groups . the,y would like to thank everyone for there support so far,
