A Quick question---does Faller by any chance offer assembled replacement cars for their Wild Mouse coaster? I know with the later version (20th Anniversary), the cars came partially assembled as opposed to the original (yellow) version where the cars had to be assembled from scratch, which was a bear to do.

NOPE!!!! Because if they offered fully built replacement cars don't you think they would have just fully built the cars they offer in their kits??

Anything that you need a replacement for from faller comes exactly the way it does in the kit. I have gotten replacement parts in the past and the way you see it in the box is the way your replacement parts will show up!!!!

Yes, Sidewinder, and that just might be the answer to my dilemma...if they do in fact offer replacement parts exactly the way they come in the kit, that will be just fine with me. For the later version of their Wild Mouse they offer partially built cars: the pre built chassis and the coverings, and if those are the parts I can get-fine. Given the travesty that was their original Wild Mouse design, where the cars literally had to be put together from scratch (complete with micro-micro parts), I hope they can at least provide the partially built cars that are featured in the second version. I've emailed them, we'll see.

About a year ago, I emailed faller inquiring about pricing for the computer and motor for the Pirate (Fun Schiff). I didnt hear from them for a week or two and then all of a sudden the parts appeared in my mailbox along with a bill lol... I didnt pay the bill because I never asked that they SEND the parts, I just asked for pricing... It may have been a mistake because they didnt send another bill after the original.

So I'm guessing you sent the parts back because of the misunderstanding lol ? Wonder if micro macro will accept returns on my schiff... haha

Ted, yeah i'm wondering the same thing, just bought my schiff from there, and the base ground frame is all warped up and bent, well i put heavy books on it so guess i'll check in ten days, also sent an email asking for a new base from faller, i bet there will be a shipping bill as well lol
Decided i can just cut the bent/warped base and turn it into a racked ride with some new parts

Well I emailed Faller on Sat, and sure enough Mon. morning there was a return email from them asking me for my mailing address....I gave it to them so now who knows what will be in my mailbox, maybe the parts (and an accompanying bill?)

No, it would have cost me more money to just send the parts back to Germany lol. Needless to say, I still have the parts - unused.

From my experience with Faller's parts department in the past, they have always been pretty good with sending out replacement parts at no charge. I'm sure the invoice was an accounting error. Nobody sends anything without payment first these days, unless there is no charge lol.

Early on I was on a Faller "kick" and had to get the new rides as they came out. I got overly excited with their new Wild Mouse, and immediately ordered TWO. Then as my luck would have it they shortly came out with the improved 20th Anniversary edition of it. So I've been working through one of the original (yellow) versions I bought and am now considering just selling the other one--or keeping it to kitbash.

I needed parts for my Faller Top Spin in the early 2000's, and Faller didn't charge me for those few pieces I needed. I also needed parts on the Rainbow and the same, they sent the parts, no charge. [8d] It's been a while since I built my last Faller ride. I'm slowly getting into the mood again to start up a small midway show possibly..
