Depends on the show and how much they charge per ticket. Some shows even charge a ticket more or a ticket less depending on the spot as well. Some smaller shows have been known to charge one price per ticket, and one ticket per ride. It varies from show to show.

Seems, to me, that 5 tickets would be the average if you want to go by tickets only. Now, the cost per ride does vary according to the show's pricing structure. Keep in mind that an individual ticket price is, strictly, ala-carte designed to motivate an upsell to a wristband, mega-pass, etc.. Just like in a supermarket, the cost per ounce of something is more when a smaller quantity is purchased. At least, that's how I see it.

Locally, I've seen as low as .75 cents a ticket and up to $1.25 a ticket.
Usually kiddies are 2-3 tickets and majors are 4-5 tickets. The spectaculars are as high as 6 tickets. Locally most of the shows I see are on the small to medium size.
Personally I think it's really up to you... 🙂
