I just recieved this E-mail this morning

Subj: Ray and Patty Hrudka: Large fire rips through Charles Co. fairgrounds

I am sad to share that Ray and Patty Hrudka lost their RV/Home in this blaze yesterday. I received a call from Kevin Kamauf. manager of the Allegheny County Fair in Cumberland Maryland, earlier today. He asked if I had heard from Ray or Patty, I had not. I called Patty and she shared with me that their RV and all the contents were an entire loss, they were unable to salvage anything. In addition to all their belongings and records being lost, they lost their beloved dogs, Daisy and Duke. Patty said they had just received a very large shipment of stock, and they also lost the entire load. Please keep them in your prayers as they begin to rebuild after this great loss.

I just read about this as well, here is a link to a local paper about the fire. Another referenced the Reithoffer Orange Unit, but then the article only talked about house trailers, the dogs and lots of other damage.

Well keep these folks in my prayers and hope they are able to restock and get their equipment back on the road soon. Glad no person was killed or hurt badly.

Reithoffer's Facebook page mentioned the event.

I read the article,
apparently most of the barns, show pavilions, and other buildings besides the house trailers were destroyed
it mentions that its estimated at 500 thousand in damages to the property
Best of luck to my friends down in Charles county as they rebuild the fairgrounds
such a shame that it happened
