If anyone is interested the Fun Schiff / Pirate will be available next month according to Faller's website. The instruction manual is also available to view on the page as well.

Ryan, if you get the Pirate model, let us know how it is. I'd be curious as to how well it works.

Looks fantastic!! For those of you who are familiar with DCC programming for trains; the control box on the model allows you to modify through CVs the sequence and motion of the ride. These components would be outstanding for creating a Freakout/Fireball or Street Fighter.

That looks great, I'd be more intrested in a Pirat though, but still looks fantastic and looks like it runs great too.

I think this is the 2013 catalog but nothing new ride-wise:

Faller Kirmes

Or is this just their current full catalog and the new stuff isn't shown yet? I can't really tell if I'm looking at it right.

Sidewinder, thanks for the video. What a smooth drive. Is that the motor, behind the sign on the top of the tower? Sadly, I am contemplating purchasing one just for the drive. Anyone have any more details on the drive portion?

Thinking about getting one of these and converting it into a Fabbri Afterburner. Would be much more involved than the Musik Expres/Rock & Roll conversion, but this might be my summer project this year (assuming they are available by then). Also on my plate is using a Faller Flipper kit and RAH Chaos and ending up with a motorized Chaos with the flipper base and a backdrop - have started plans and graphics for that one and got all the beads ordered for the lights.

It swings nicely, but i think it swings a little too high. If the real Huss Pirate swung that high, people in the end seats would be coming out, up, & over the lap bar! [:0] That drive is more suitable for a model of the KMG FireBall or Freak Out.

Looks like they're re-releasing the old Polyp/Octopus. Really? Is that it? Anyone hear anything else? Maybee an off chance something else will be announced?
