For anyone looking for big lots of HO scale people at discounted prices, check out the following link on eBay. I needed a decent amount of standing people for a project I am finishing up and didnt want to pay Priser's $11+ for a box of 6 people.

The "bulk" ones I found on ebay dont look as super detailed as the Priser ones, but do look pretty good and you probably wouldnt be able to tell a difference. They are from the Orient so shipping does take a few weeks.

Check it out:

This set has a good variety of kids and adults and not all holding briefcases and wearing business clothes like alot of the railroad passenger kits.

I have bought 2 or 3 bags of these from this seller I believe. Good deal, not a ton of variety in the bag but good enough and as mentioned not as expensive as preiser or woodland scenics... How does everyone mount their people? Glue them to the spot you want? Mount on tiny clear plastic?

The clear plastic gives you the option to move them and not ruin your felt top. That is how I do it

I used to mount them to the clear plastic, but recently started just gluing them in place. As long as your base or display is set up how you want it, there shouldnt be need to move them. Worst case if you have to move them, you just fill the hole with a little woodland scenics ground foam (thats if you use a grass top and not felt).

LB Shows Mini Midway

I have over 600 of these little people. They are great for midway filler when setting up a display.

For me, since I use a "parking lot" as my base and model table, and since I set up my stuff in different configurations, I glued them all to a small piece of black cardstock.

It is definitely a good deal for bulk people.

My problem with the clear plastic was that when I moved each ride (since mine are mounted on Cummons type bases), I would either loose the people or they would fall over lol..

Just a little hint, they look better if you spray them with flat matte first to get rid of the shiny look and more like the flat paint used on the Preiser people....
