The Skydiver/Skywheel thread got me thinking, Who still travels with Huss rides??

I saw Wade's Enterprise at the Broward County Fair this year. Looked fantastic!! I remember it like yesterday when Strates had their Top Spin, Pirate, Enterprise and Rainbow all on the Midway. Do they still travel with them?

Deggeller still has a Huss Pirate. There was talk last year about maybe bringing it back on the road.

What happened to Strate's Tri-Star?

I liked moving that Pirate, Huss made nice stuff, and it fit together.

I remember for years it was sitting set up in their HQ. That'd be awesome if they bring it back.

A shame there aren't any more Rainbows on the road anymore.

Funtastic has an entrprise and a Huss Jump'in set up as a perminent attraction on the Pullup fair grounds.
Also, i believe there are a couple other Pirates traveling as well (one out west somewhere).

I think Joe Noerper has 2 Pirates.

I worked for Pugh Shows from 1974-2000. Married Michelle Gazella of Gazella's Finer Foods

Huss is focused on park rides. I am sure for the RIGHT price they would build anything you ask though.

As far as the Tornado goes. I was moving the ARM Touchdown at the time I got to see the Tornado in Tampa. I was starstruck by the action of the ride. It's fast, smooth, quiet and gives the riders a thrill. I didn't ride it but regret that now. I don't ride many rides these days but this one would have been worth a whirl. Honestly that whole show impresses me as far as presentation and the way they move.

Strates sold Tri Star in early 90's. Can't remember where it went. I think it was discussed on here a while back.

Technically Huss went out of business. The company that they morphed into after their bankruptcy and move to Hungary is actually called Huss Park Attractions GmbH. From what I hear they no longer make any portables, of course like JustinJames said, if you hand over a check with the right numbers on it, I'm sure they can whip up just about anything you want out of their former catalog, although beware their rides are outsourced to Stakotra who aren't exactly known for their outstanding quality, they mainly fabricate stuff for Intamin.

In 2005(ish) at the Florida State Fair Reithoffer and Farrow had their rides back to back- Twister (KT Enterprises), Tornado (Huss). Could definitely put into perspective how big the Huss piece is, very cool year!
