Hi John:

Thanks for the nice pictures. I really enjoyed them.

Re: Davis Enterprises...that Century Wheel was not set up when I was there. I was at the fair on day 2 or 3. So it must have been sut up after that.

Anyone catch the "bird cage" style tubs on Davis' Chance Giant Wheel?

Thanks for posting John!

I've noticed that too. Not sure how long those tubs that modification for.

BTW does anyone have any info on Davis' Alpine Bobs? I know they got it from B&B in 05' then after the 06' season I never saw it again. It had a really nice paint scheme as well.

Nice photos, I really enjoy looking at your photography. Keep it up!

Great set of photos. I always enjoy looking at them.

As for the 'bird cages,' it was discussed here earlier this year. I understand why they did it, but personally I think it looks horrible. Unfortunately that is the society we are becoming, you have to protect yourself from dumb people (just look at some of the crazy warnings on items nowadays) who will do something stupid and then try and blame you and sue you. You will never see this over in Europe, they are apparently smarter riders (many rides don't even have fence!) and if you do something stupid while riding a ride, it's your own fault.

I haven't seen the B & B Alpine Bobs since San Mateo County Fair circa 2002.

Also missing in action is Davis' "Super Bolt" bobs. Custom scenery featured viking men riding unicorns and chasing the viking women and throwing lighting bolts at them!

Has anyone else seen either bobs recently?
