I don’t know, but I can tell you the odds of it happening again are slim to none.
Best part nobody seriously hurt.
Yo Yo was attached to north bound truck. Ended up on its side in a corn field. Damage is not too bad, but bad enough were it will not be up in Essex. The real kicker is that they just refurbed it this past winter, LED lights and all, and now this….

Didn't see this posted from RideAccidents.com

Ride operator in critical condition after collision with ride
(August 20, 2011) - A 25-year-old ride operator was struck by a gondola that sped by him while he was in a restricted area. The accident happened at the West Virginia State Fair in Charleston, West Virginia.

The man was operating a ride called Speed, which consists of two arms that rotate to heights of 125 feet at 13 revolutions per minute. Each arm has a 4-person gondola that rotates freely at each end. According to co-workers, the man was looking at his cell phone when he walked into the path of the ride.

He was airlifted to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

The operator is employed by Reithoffer Shows of Gibsonton, Florida.

-end story-
Just hasn't been Reithoffers week I guess. My thoughts to all involved in both incidents.

Some of our amigos know that injured operator on the Speed. They were talking about it while we were moving in the truck. Prayers and thoughts for all involved.

That guy must have been popular because a few of our guys knew him too. They told us yesterday

Another opportunity for an unqualified loser of a "consultant" that he is to go ambulance chasing. This guy is a windbag with no experience in the business and should stick to chasing slip and fall accidents at the supermarkets. What a douche.

Thank god they are both ok but come on, the south bound driver had to be screwing around. We play a lot of spots where the jumps are short and trucks are rolling back and forth. Flash your lights, blow your horn, flip them off but NEVER drive into their side. Had a driver actually moon me once, but that was a truck from a different show.
