At this point it looks like the Senate President might be holding off on sending the bill to Gov. Quinn for the rest of the summer and possibly until the legislature returns for the fall veto session, so if any changes need to be made the legislature will be in session to address them.  In the meantime continue to send your letters of support and make your phone calls if you have not already done so.

Why is the OABA interested in this bill? I saw nothing pertaining to Carnivals, just gambling and a casino for Chicago. Sorry I did not take the poll.

Because if passed, new monies to underwrite the State' Fairs will become available which helps the Carnivals playing in Illinois.
