Always found this HUSS piece interesting. You can call it a Wisdom Gravitron on steroids. Don't think HUSS made much of these but it sure would be interesting here in the states. No good pictures of the interior. I think the riders have seats that slide up and down when the whole turntable tilts like a Round Up. The operator may stay outside on this one lol.

IIRC La Ronde in Montreal used to have one.

Has LaRonde removed theirs?? this was the only DiscoRound in North America :(
I've also been intruiged by this ride, as I've never ridden it. I don't think HUSS made anymore than 3 or 4 max. I remember finding a youtube clip that showed the inside of LaRonde's operating which showed how the seats worked and the movement (quite different from Gravitron) - here it is, you can imagine with some pumping music it would be quite a fun ride of interactive 'dancing riders'

Ah, what a odd ride the Disco Round was. Very WTF indeed. I got the chance to ride La Rondes 3 or 4 times.. I had no idea what it was and ocne inside.. was shocked to find seats.. and a big HUSS sticker! From the outside it looked like a Gravtron.. that tilted but it was much more, and better. The rocking seats.. the bounce up and down... and just how clunky it was. What a fun ride :(

Looking back at my photos I've got a few here -

Canobiefan great shots. I thank you for your foresight in getting such good detail (re: inside shots) of this incredibly rare ride.
