It seems like more and more Christmas events are popping up each year. Are there any Christmas events in your area? Any with rides?

In Chicago, we have had one of the largest in the midwest at Navy Pier called Winter Wonderland which has been running for the past 6 years or so. In the past, Spectacular Midways and Alpine Amusements have provided half a dozen rides at the event. This year, Windy City has 4 rides in there.

This year, Amusements of America has a few rides at Santa's Magical Village in Florence, SC. Take a look at the web site that we recently completed for the event:

Of course, one of the largest is located in Miami - Santa's Enchanted Forest.

Hershey Park and Dutch Wonderland are two parks that both have Christmas events.
It is what you learn, after you know it all, that counts.

Marshfield, WI has the Rotary Winter Wonderland. No rides, but a decent light show. The boy scouts have a food trailer each night and there are horse and wagon rides on select days.

http://rotarywinterwonderland.com/  is their website.

My wife and I went during the opening weekend. For those who are interested I put together a video and of course took lots of pictures.

The McDonagh's have some kiddie rides and the Merry-Go-Round set up inside the main exhibit building at the WQ/Saginaw County Fairgrounds for Santa's Village, open this weekend and next, been open since Thanksgiving weekend. The train comes in from Owosso (to the south, the tracks run right next to the fairgrounds/WQ), and they run it like the Polar Express train from the story, kids and parents, some dressed in pajama's. Or you can just visit the village, with the rides and arts and crafts, HO-scale model railroad layout, lots of food, and of course Santa and Mrs. Claus.

I have all of the details on our website, linked below (logo).
