....had those pretty big sized Carnival Ride Models in their back yard that time? I remember seeing them in Carousel magazine when it was called that, but i don't remember who's rides they were. I (vagely) remember what the guy had in his back yard, an almost life-size replica of the Roll-o-Plane, a Wheel, and some others, Octopus maybe?, not sure on that though. They were 1/5 or 1/7 scale rides. I bet someone here knows of that person with those rather large ride replicas. To have a Roll-o-Plane or a working Loop-o-Plane that size?, man, that'd be awesome!
