Is that a complete list? 37 rides seems a little small for a state fair...

Yeah, there are usually 45 or so. The typical rides are not there like the tornado, zipper, cliff hanger, and Yo Yo. It would be great if there were a freak out or fireball added.
Usually we do not have the huge pieces like white water and zyklon at the same time. Last year everyone that I know of loved what was there.

Thats definitely a great line up, it just seems small for a state fair. I guess when it comes right down to it alot of fair ride counts would be alot smaller if you didn't count duplicates. So I guess you've got that going for you...[:D]

Zyklon and White Water probably take up the space of 4-5 rides by themselves. Enterprise takes up more space than a standard ride like Tilt or a Tornado. The Witch's Castle has a big footprint for a dark ride, too.

Wade's Yo Yo usually travels with this unit, but it was in WQ last I heard getting rebuilt, so it should look brand new next time you see it.

You`re right! The fair directors here do not look at the rides as "the fair" like other places do. They`re more about the agriculture exhibits and farm related shows.

You could probably say that about the majority of the midwest shows. Look at Iowa. They draw a million people and they only put about 40 rides on the midway. Indiana is the same....They place about 50 or so at a spot that definitely will draw over a million with the 17 day run. It's about the other stuff at these spots.

Of course, on the other end, you have Raleigh....need I say more?

It is pretty impressive looking racked on the trailers. It is being placed where whitewater was last year. Should be a good chance to get some really nice shots for the calender contest this year.
