The hyd. motors are an easy fix in the field, you just need the talents to repair them.

Yes I rebuilt more than one in my time !!

ok so tell me with out being pinetar, how are you going to fix one in the field, disconnect the hoses unscrew the 4 bolts take it out and run it to a shop real fast???? then put the bolts back on connect the hoses back to the motor and bang your in biz, or can i just adjust it while it's on the arm, just asking a serious question, as i would like to know.

REM the hoses, pull off the plates, inspect and replace from spare parts while on the ride.

The inside is basic. If you want a real challenge, pull a Reverchon Poclain hyd. piston motor, replace a blown seal. The problem is the many pistons go in at an angle and not all at once.

I would set it on the office platform and open it up. The ride would run fine with 3 of the four motors but not at all with 2 on the Himi.

it has been awhile, perhaps it is not necessary to pull the hoses. I would keep old motors and use parts from them also.

Uh, sure. Actually, I cannot recall ever posting a topic like this, especially in the last six months. That's the territory of folks like Rainbow Ben, Predator Rocks, etc.

im not extremeley knowledgeable about how to fix or repair the rides, but dont most midways have a mobile shop? Even our small sized midway has a shop but they are also local and a 20 minute ride to their winter quarters makes it easier as well.
