I just completed a small, but nice web site for Shaw and Sons Amusements. Take a look:

Thanks.

The site looks great, I love the way they talk about Safety, as far as I know they've never had any type of accident, but the last time I saw them was at the Our Lady of Hope church carnival, they had 2 knuckleheads setting up the Zipper and fighting loudly about how the seats went on, (they were putting them on wrong but eventually got them right) as I was walking over to check out the Gravitron they had a broomstick holding up the door, all this happened while being opened. I like Shaw & Sons but living here in Maryland I'd much rather go to a Jolly Shows carnival located out of Annapolis which is also closer to Ocean City, where I live.
Just a person with a big hobby, of collecting carnival stuff.

Shaw and Sons opens Thursday Aug. 14 in Annapolis, Md. They used to have a series of fairs in Pennsylvania and carried 25 rides but now only play the West Alexander Fair in West Alexander, Pa for Labor Day. At the end of Sept. they play the Preston Co. Buckwheat Festival in Kingwood, WVa. There, rides from Bates in Ohio and Tropical Amusements in Pa augment the midway. Shaws prefer the 40 miler type of operation and have long ago retired the Sky Wheel, Diver, Matterhorn and anything that takes longer than 2 hours to set up. With expnses way up in these times one can hardly blame them to try and make life as easy as possible.
