If anyone has the Faller Huss Rainbow, sealed in the box, or not, or built?, i'm looking to buy one. Whoever might have one they want to sell , or have an extra one sealed still? Thanks

I'd like to find one to build a racked Rainbow too. But last ones I saw for sale were very expensive!

Faller should had never discontinued this kit. We ought to e-mail Faller to make a better updated model of the Rainbow with working chain or driveshaft inside the lower boom to keep the gondola level. Also, with the options of a lighted Rainbow cloud, sunshine face, & lighted gondola. That'd be awesome if they did that to it!..a better updated version of the Rainbow.

Hey Ben, that makes way too much sense that's why Faller will never do it....lol

Aside from Warren ( who does a great job, but backed up) does anyone else scratch build them?

Has a reserve on it. Less than two days left.

I thought originaly they were planning an improved version and that was why the discontinued it. Would make sense to bring it back, even with it's operational problems it was still more reliable than most of their latest kits.

Well the one in the auction I linked to went for $204 and change, wow.

I like my Rainbow model, couldn't tell you how it operates, I have never hooked up the motor. lol I am just not into motorizing my models, too much time involved in that, and then you are limited in the kind of layouts you can set up, having to align motors and such. But I am impressed with those that do motorize them and get them running.

Man, i saw your link to that auction at the last second, sucks i didn't try to win it. Yes, i would've gave that and then some for it, i want that thing back badly. Update: I'm not going to do the Full Pavilion amusement park. It would take a grand or more to do it up fully authentic to a T. I'm going to be doing the front side of the Pavilion as it was in '88..the Pavilion arcade building/Magic Attic, Rainbow, Carousel, Ferris Wheel, Ripley's building, & Peaches Corner. The Corkscrew coaster will be on there, along with the kiddie boat ride & dune buggy car ride that sat underneath the Corkscrew track. If i did the whole park, i'd have major bucks invested into it. I have other interests than doing up a tribute to the Pavilion. I would like to do up a small County Fair layout with the Sky Wheel later & other classic rides like the Roll-o-Plane, etc...
