Just got this email from the strawberry festival and thought maybe some of you would be interested in the line up and prices.

FLORIDA STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL®

December 7, 2007

TO: ALL ON-LINE TICKET STORE PATRONS

RE: TICKET SALES PROCEDURE

ADVANCE GATE ADMISSIONS TICKETS AND CONCERT TICKETS WILL GO ON SALE ON 12/10/07 AT 8:00 AM. WE WILL NOT SELL ADVANCE SHORTCAKE TICKETS. THE WALK-UP ticket office will open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m. on 12/10/07. After the first day of ticket sales, hours for the Walk-Up Ticket Office will be 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.


Advance Gate Admission is $8.00 (ages 13 & up)

Advance Youth Admission is $4.00 (ages 6-12)

Children 5 & under get in free with a paying adult

PROCEDURE TO ORDER TICKETS

Ordering Tickets On-line:


Tickets can be ordered at the Festival’s On-line Ticket Store at www.flstrawberryfestival.com . You will order your tickets and PRINT OUT YOUR TICKETS at home. If you do not have a printer you may email your tickets to a friend who can print them for you or you will need to call in your ticket order or come to the walk-up ticket office.
You can only order 6 shows at a time. You will have to go out of the on-line store and back into the online store to order more shows.


Advance Gate Admission Tickets may be purchased
until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2008.
Prices are:
Advance Gate Admission - $8.00 (ages 13 & up)
Advance Youth Gate Admission – $4.00 (ages 6 – 12)
Children 5 & under get in FREE with a paying adult

After 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008 prices will be:
Gate Admission Tickets - $10.00 (ages 13 & up)
Youth Gate Admission -$5.00 for ages 6 thru 12;
Children 5 & under will get in free with a paying adult.

Concert Ticket prices will vary according to artist and location of seat.
Prices will range from $10.00 to $40.00 – we have attached a price list.
The computer will select the next best seat available for the concert and you will print your concert tickets and gate admission at home. Please remember concert tickets are not valid for gate admission so you must purchase gate admission tickets for each day you attend. Children 3 and under do not need a concert ticket if they will sit on your lap.


There will be a $1.00 per ticket convenience fee for tickets ordered on-line AND a $1.00 web service charge per order.
Tickets will be available on-line through the duration of the Festival.


If you need to leave the Festival Grounds and return the same day, you will need to have your hand stamped to come back inside the Festival Grounds without purchasing another gate admission ticket.
We have attached a list of the concerts (artists, dates, times & prices).

I still got a big kick out of how in 2006, they booked JoAnn Castle (the honky-tonk pianist from the old Lawrence Welk Show) to play for Senior Day

those lineups bring the tour buses with all the older folks. good for the strawberry cakes and some other foods but not for the ride gross even tho some still ride at an older age. most of the older acts are scheduled in the early afternoon.
