I never seen that Astro Wheel on the Kissle set before. Was that a standard ride or was that something modified?

after seeing pictures of the zumer in action, it looks like the same thing as a sellner funnel force, only with a much much lower price tag.

Thanks everyone! The Funnel Force is an update on the Zumur. Supposedly the Zumur was invented by Richard Tinsley & was named so because at various points in the ride cycle the ride slows down & speeds up making the riders "ZOOM" in & out. As for the Astro Wheel, there used to be a practice in the industry where a show owner could convert an old ride to a new one with a modification kit by the manufacturers. Hrubetz sold one to convert old Spitfires to Paratroopers, at Chance, you could convert a Turbo into a Radar, or a Sky Diver into an Astro Wheel. They also sold these rides complete. The Astro Wheel was a responce to the industry wanting a Giant Wheel like Royal American had.
