You have to buy a game licence in NJ. Most regular games go there. Also stop and go wheels. They have a set of rules and the game police do check at random and will fine you if you break the rules. You can not get a licence for still dates. It has to be an established fair or a park or boardwalk.

That's just like Ohio....Don't need a licence for Still dates or Festivals..the only place the Licence is good is at the Fairs....

Do you mean you do not need a licence for still dates? Can you work without one for still dates?

No games are allowed in NJ without a license. and at still dates you can have "prize everytime" joints which everyone must win a prize of equal value

Does each joint need a licence or just a licence for the owner?

Looking at the list it looks like just about everything is fair game....no pun intended...[;)]

Every game needs a seperate license. As stated in an earlier post, only games operated at parks, boardwalk or county fairs are allowed. There are a few exceptions, but you have to jump thru hoops to get approval. Big A plays in July at one of these "special approval" events.
The game police inspect all of the fairs, they come out and deliver your license and do a walkaround inspection. They will sometimes do a follow up and it is usually "under cover"[xx(]

That's how Ohio Fairs are...They whack ya $70 a licence per joint....But then again the still dates and festivals are wide open....
