Here is a similar site for saving Trimper's rides in Ocean City, MD:

It is such a shame that we have lost so many parks and that so many of in danger of being lost.
It is what you learn, after you know it all, that counts.

It seems that all of the parks in the country will be lame corporate parks were if you've gone to one, you've gone to them all. Cookie cutter parks.

We need to save the parks in order for the traveling shows to have more competition? (History aside, that is)

The thing about some of the older parks, is that they have alot of the " old school" rides and funhouses that arnt seen on the road anymore.Kinda like seeing them.

In the syndicated news releases, pictures supposedly representing Astroland were published. Anyone familiar with the area would know that much of the view was that of Deno's Wonderwheel Park adjacent to it.

I received an e-mail from Dennis Vourderis about Deno's. In a local paper, he was quoted as saying that for the right price Deno's could be sold. However factored into that price is the pride and efforts of Steve and Dennis' father, Deno, who scraped and slaved to purchase the park and to make it the success that it is today.
