Here are some more spots for anyone looking for shows to visit in Michigan this week.

Wade Shows #1 -- Westland Summer Festival (City Hall Complex on Ford Road).

Wade Shows #3 -- Flint (Perani Arena on Lapeer Road).

Wade Satellite unit (with Arnold's #1) -- Mount Clemens (downtown).

Arnold #2 -- Melvindale (Ice Arena on Allen Road).

McDonagh's -- Rivard Plaza on the Detroit River riverfront (Riverfest). Through Wednesday then on to Sand Lake.

McDonagh's #2 -- not sure, they keep the route under wraps (at least until Matt gets their website done....)

Schmidt -- Manistee (National Forest Festival).

Schmidt -- not sure.

Playworld Amusements -- Muskegon (Heritage Landing on Lake Michigan waterfront).

Skerbeck #1 -- Bay City (Fireworks Festival).

Skerbeck #2 -- Algonac.

Family Funtyme -- not sure, depends on when Ecorse starts (could be next week).

Family Funtyme #2 -- Not sure.

Elliotts -- Lake City (Greatest 4th In The North).

Mid America Shows -- Lake Orion (Lions Jubilee, downtown).

Miller Spectacular Shows -- Battle Creek (Kellogg Airport).

Wade also has a unit in New York at Nassau Colesium in Uniondale, and the Giant Wheel, White Water, and Merry-Go-Round in Chicago for the Taste of Chicago.

We open in Westland on Friday afternoon, come on out and visit! Always nice to be able to meet new folks, and visit with folks I have met before. Always nice to put a face to an MCW name!

I love how Skerbeck only has to travel about 5 minutes from St. Stans show to the Bay City Show! Easy for them

Forgot to mention, for those that wish to venture over to Canada, World's Finest Shows is set up in Windsor at Dieppe Park, right along the Detroit River, basically in front of the Windsor Casino. Not directly across from where McDonagh's are set up on the Detroit side, but easy to see them from where McDonagh's are set up.

I ventured down to Rivard Plaza tonight, decent size crowd, a band was playing, food joints all open, but McDonagh's were basically closed. The Fury was open and running and looked spectacular all lit up, but the rest of the rides were dark, the Sky Wheel had four seats off of the wheel on top. Oh well, maybe I will venture back down there on Tuesday evening, as we will leave the office probably by 6pm. I did see World's finest shows open across the river, the Century Wheel was looking great all lit up, did not really see what else was over there, but the midway looked very well lit from where I was at on the Detroit side. The big firework's display over the Detroit River is this Wednesday night around 10pm or so, probably a million or so folks will line both sides of the river and Belle Isle, and it will all be on television as well, channel 4, so I would expect to see plenty of midway shots from both sides of the river.

Our move from Livonia to Westland is similar, about six miles or so. LOL

Now I have to decide where I want to go. I probably will not go to the Playworld Amusements spot since I believe they will be in Ionia this year.

Is there any drop tower, top spin, spin out, fire ball, ring of fire, or turbo force types of rides out there this week?

Thanks,
Charles

Spin Out -- Westland.

Space Loop (Top Spin type) -- Flint.

Drop Tower -- Playworld, one of the Skerbeck spots (not sure which one), possibly Lake Orion with Mid America, I think Miller Spectacular Shows has one as well and it could be in Battle Creek.

KMG Fireball -- Westland.

KMG Freak Out -- Playworld, possibly Lake Orion with Mid America.

Ring of Fire/Fireball -- McDonagh's, Sand Lake, Playworld as well.

No Turbo Force type, ours was sold.

And yes Playworld will be in Ionia this year, with some NAME equipment booking in (Farrow).

Miller's drop tower was setting there racked this morning. I presume they will be setting it up.

Anyone visit any of the other spots yet? Just curious. I won't be able too, unfortunately.
