Cedar Points new roller coaster "Maverick" is GREAT!!! I just spent 3 days there and when I first seen Maverick, it looked just like another coaster but longer and more spread out. The only thing I seen that was different was it had no chain to pull the train to the top of the first hill, but instead it was pushed up the hill with magnetic plates. Well, I finally got on it my last day there, later at night, when the line got down to about an hour, loved how fast it got up the hill, it has a short 90' drop and starts twisting, turning, rolling and it has great air time on hills. When the ride was about half over, it shot under the station and came to a complete stop, seconds later you hear this roar of power starting up and before you know it you are SHOT through a dark tunnel at about 70mph, screaming, strobes in you face and then you fly out of the tunnel at a sharp left turn and it seems like the beast was just unleashed! WOW, GREAT RIDE!!!
