Does anyone know off hand of a shade of paint (Testors etc.) that is a very close match to the tanish color of the support tower/motor housing on the Rainbow kit? I need to paint the boom in a matching shade and fix up the entire assembly in general.

if you look at a real rainbow, the main arm is white like the booms... looks much better than that off white

When I first built my Faller Rainbow, I used a beige paintmarker, almost a light tan colour, it looked nice, and was close to the colour Wade Shows' Rainbow was at the time. I have since painted it sky blue and it looks ten times better than beige or plain white.
