When i was a kid, i remember going to the Hillsdale County Fair, in Hillsdale Mi. and plunking quarters in a machine that made disney characters out of plastic, that poured into a mold , then cooled before it dropped into a chute. Ive never seen seen these again, and wondered if anyone else remembers seeing them, and what happened to them.

Those were the old "Mold-A-Rama" machines and apparently, they're still making them;

I remember them from the Brookfield Zoo and the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago.

A quick Google check produced all kinds of info on them.

I remember these too. Somewhere I still have a t-rex from a shopping center spot when I was a kid. The reconditioned machines seem just a little pricey for most folks to me, though. I'm still glad they are out there.

I still have a plastic eagle I got from one at the Illinois State Fair in about '74. Cool machine.
